I have collected short Hadith (tradition) quotes in English. Hadith is also known as Sunnah. Sunnah is what prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him) said and what he(Peace Be Upon him) did. Please read all mentioned hadiths here and don’t forget to inform me if any error is occurred from my end so that I could correct the error occurred instantly. Narrated Zayd ibn Thabit (May Allah have mercy on him), Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him) said: “May Allah brighten a person who hears a hadith from us, learns it by heart and passes it on to others.” – [Sunan Abu Dawud]

Narrated Abu Masud Al-Badri (May Allah have mercy on him), Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him) said: “A man’s spending on his family is a deed of charity.” – Sahih A-Bukhari 4006]

“Whoever removes a worldly hardship from a believer, Allah will remove one of the hardships of the Day of Resurrection from him…” – [ Sahih Muslim 2699]

We should not abandon shame because if we abandon it then we feel problem doing good deeds, Our Prophet Muhammad (May Allah’s Peace and blessings be upon him) said, “If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.” – [Al-Bukhari]

Abu Dhar (May Allah have mercy on him) said, “I was with the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) one day and
I heard him saying: “There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal.”
It was then that I became afraid, so I said:
” Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?” He (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said;
“Misguided and astray scholars.” – [ Musnad Ahmad ]

“Whoever Allah wishes to show goodness, he gives him understanding of the religion.” – [Sahih Bukhari: 71]

Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him) Said: “There is healing in black cumin for all disease except death.” – [Sahih Al-Bukhari]

Narrated by Abu Hurairah( May Allah have mercy on him): Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said, “There is no disease that Allah has created, except that He also has created its treatment.” – [ Sahih Al-Bukhari]

“If anyone learns by heart the first ten verses of the Surah al-Kahf, he will be protected from the Dajjal.”- [Sahih Muslim]

“Fasting on the day of Arafah, it expiates the sins of the previous year and that of the following year.”- [Shih Muslim]

Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him) said: “O people seek repentance from Allah. Verily, I seek repentance from him a hundred times a day.” – [Sahih Muslim]

Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him) said: “If Allah guides a person through you, it is better for you than everything on the Earth.” – [Sunan Abu Dawud]

“Allah looks down on the night of the middle of Sha’ban and forgives all His creation, apart from the idolater and the quarrelling (ones).” [Tirmidhi]

Abu Huraira(RA) reported Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him) said:
“If anyone extols Allah after every prayer thirty-three times, and praises Allah thirty-three times, and declares His Greatness thirty-three times, ninety-nine times in all, and says to complete a hundred:” There is no god but Allah, having no partner with Him, to Him belongs sovereignty and to Him is praise due, and He is Potent over everything,” his sins will be forgiven even If these are as abundant as the foam of the sea.”

Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him) Said: “Every intoxicant is forbidden.” – [Sahih Muslim]

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him) said, “He who believes in Allah and the Last Day must either speak good or remain silent.” – [Muslim]

“There will come a time when one will not care how one gains one’s money, legally or illegally.” – [Sahih Al-Bukhari]. // May Allah save us from haram income and bless  us with halal income.

It was narrated that Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever asks Allah for Jannah three times [Allahumma inni as’aluk al-Jannah], Jannah will say: ‘O Allah, enter him into Jannah. Whoever seeks protection from the Fire three times (Allaahumma ajirni min an-naar), Hell will say, ‘O Allah, protect him from the Fire’”

“Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, then Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” – [Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim]

Abu Darr(May Allah be pleased with him) reported: “Prophet Muhammad(Peace be Upon him) Said : “Don’t belittle any good deed, even your meeting with your brother(Muslim) with cheerful face.” – [Muslim]

“Richness does not mean having a great amount of property, but richness is self-contentment.” – [Bukhari]

“Don’t hate each other, but rather be servants of Allah as brothers.” – [Sahih Al Bukhari]

Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him) said: “The angels don’t enter a house in which there is a dog or an image.” – [Sahih Al-Bukhari]

“If anyone wants to have his deeds widely publicized, Allah will publicize (his humiliation). And if anyone makes a hypocritical display (of his deeds) Allah will make a display of him.” (Sahih Muslim Book 42, Hadith 7115)

Uthman bin ‘Affan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (Peace Be upon him) said, “There is no right for the son of adam except in these (four) things: A house to live in, a cloth to cover therewith his private parts, bread and water.” – [At-Tirmidhi]

The Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said:
“What I fear for you the most is the minor shirk, that is ar-riya. Allah will say on the Day of Judgement when He is rewarding the people for their actions: Go to those for whom you did riya for in the world then see if you find the reward with them.”
[Related by Ahmad (5/428, 429) and al-Baghawi in Sharh as-Sunnah (4135) from the hadith of Mahmud bin Lubayd, radiallahu ‘anhu, with an authentic chain upon the conditions of Muslim]

It was narrated by Jabir (May Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah, (Peace Be Upon him) said: “Ask Allah for beneficial knowledge and seek refuge with Allah from knowledge that is of no benefit.” – [Sunan Ibn Majah]

The Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said:
“Shall I not inform you of what I fear for you more than the Masih ad-Dajjal? It is the hidden shirk. It is when a man stands up for prayer, then beautifies his prayer for another to look at.”
[Related by Ibn Majah (2604) from the hadith of Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, radiallahu ‘anhu. The hadith is hasan]

The Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon him) said, “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).” – [Muslim]

Abdullah bin Mas’ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (Peace be Upon him) said, “Truth leads to piety and piety leads to Jannah. A man persists in speaking the truth till he is enrolled with Allah as a truthful. Falsehood leads to vice and vice leads to the Fire (Hell), and a person persists on telling lies until he is enrolled as a liar.” – [Bukhari & Muslim]

“He who doesn’t memorize any part from the Quran is like a ruined house.” – [At-Tirmidhi]

“The closest moment of a servant to be near to his Lord(Allah) is when he is in sujood.” – [Sahih Muslim]

Prophet Muhammad (Pace Be Upon him) said: The Dua of a person for his Muslim brother in his absence will be answered. At his head there is an angel, and every time he prays for him for something good, the angel who has been appointed to be with him, says: ‘Aameen, May you have like wise.’” –  [Sahih Muslim and Sunan Ibn Majah]

The Prophet (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “O Aisha! Allah does not love the one who is vulgar, nor the one who uses vulgar words” [al-Bukhari].

“Sadaqah wipes out sins like water extinguishes fire.” – [Tirmdhi]

“Allah’s messenger (peace be upon him) disliked to sleep before isha’ prayer and to talk after it.” – [Sahih Al-bukhari]

Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him) said, “A believer never satisfies doing good until he/she reaches Jannah.” – [At- Tirmidhi]

“Allah is kind and He loves kindness in all matters.” – [Sahih Bukhari 6528]

“One who strives to help the widows or the poor is like one who strives in the cause of Allah.” – [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

“May Allah have mecry on a man who is tolerant when selling, buying, and seeking re-payment.” – [Sahih Bukhari]

Narrated Abu Huraira(May Allah have mercy on him) : Prophet Muhammad, (peace be upon him) said, “On the Day of Resurrection Allah will hold the whole earth and fold the heaven with His right hand and say, ‘I am the King: where are the kings of the earth?” ‘(Sahih al-Bukhari,)

The messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon him) said: “Read Quran, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the day of Resurrection.” – [Sahih Muslim]

Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him) Said:
“Whoever forgets he is fasting and eats or drinks, let him complete his fast for it is Allah Who has fed him and given him to drink.” – [Sahîh al-Bukhāri(1933) and Sahîh Muslim (1155)]

Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “The tribe of Israel was guided by prophets. When a prophet passed away, another succeeded him. But no prophet will come after me; only caliphs will succeed me.” – (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Said: “In My Ummah (Islamic Nation), there shall be born Thirty Grand Liars (Dajjals), each of whom will claim to be a prophet, But I am the Last Prophet; there is No Prophet after Me.” – (Abu Dawood Vol 2 p. 228; Tirmidhi Vol 2 p.45).

Narrated by Abu Sa`id:
Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon him) said: “Do not abuse my companions for if any one of you spent gold equal to Uhud (in Allah’s Cause) it would not be equal to a Mud or even a half Mud spent by one of them.”- (Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 3673, Book 62, Hadith 23, Vol. 5, Book 57, Hadith 22)

Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon him) said: “If one of you wears his shoes, let him start with his right side and when he takes it off then let him start with his left side.”

Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him) said: “All the people of my Ummah would get pardon for their sins except those who publicise them.” – [Sahih Muslim]

The Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Nothing can change the Divine decree except Dua.” – (Ibn Maajah, 90; al-Tirmidhi, 139.)

Abu Ad-Dardā Radī Allaahu ‘Anhu reported, Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: “Whoever defends the honor of his (Muslim) brother, then Allah will protect his face from the Hellfire on the Day of Resurrection.” – [Sunan At-Tirmidhī 1931].

The Prophet (Peace Be Upon him) said: “Verily your Lord (Allah) is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication) He becomes shy to return them empty” – [Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi]

The Prophet (Peace Be Upon him) said: “Modesty and shyness does not bring anything except goodness.” – [Saheeh Muslim]

Narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (RA) that the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Du’aa’ may be of benefit with regard to what has already happened or what has not yet happened, so adhere to Du’aa’, O slaves of Allah.” – (Al-Tirmidhi (3548)

Narrated ‘Abu Huraira (ra):
Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon him) said, “Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the nights.” – Book 2, Hadith 32
, (Fath-ul-Bari, Page 102, Vol 1).

“There is nothing that is heavier in the Scales on Judgment Day than good manners” [al-Tirmidhi].

Narrated Anas(ra) The Prophet(Peace Be upon him) said “The real patience is at the first stroke of a calamity.” – Sahih Al-Bukhari- Book 23, hadith 389

“Do not belittle any good deed, even meeting your brother (Muslim) with a cheerful face.” – [Muslim]

“Part of a person’s being a good Muslim is leaving alone that which does not concern him.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2318); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani.

The Prophet Muhammad, sallaAllahu alayhi wa salam, said :
“The most helpless person is the one who doesn’t make Du’a.” – Sahih al-Jami 1055 –

“Sadqa(charity) never decreases the wealth.” – (Muslim:6592)

Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon him) said: “A woman is closest to Allah inside her home.” –  [Sāhīh Ibn Khuzaymah (No. 1685)]

Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon him) said: “When Allah loves a servant, He tests him.” – [ Tirmidhi]

Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon him) said: “He who makes peace between the people by inventing good information or saying good things, is not a liar” – [Sahih Al bukhari]

Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon him) said: “O people, spread peace, feed the hungry, and pray at night when people are sleeping and you will enter Paradise in peace.” – [Sunan Ibn Majah 1334]

Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon him) said- “Sadaqah(Charity) wipes out sins like water extinguishes fire.” [Tirmdhi]

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr (radiyallahu ‘anhu): A man asked the Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon him) “What Islamic traits are the best?” The Prophet (Peace Be Upon him) said,
“Feed the people, and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not know.”- [Bukhari]

Abdullah bin ‘Amr narrated that the messenger of Allah (Peace Be upon him) said:
“Whoever is silent, He is saved.”  – Source: [Tirmidhi, 2501]

Abu Huraira(ra) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever.” – Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2956

Imran ibn Hussein reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If a man declares his brother to be an disbeliever, then it is as if he has killed him. And cursing a believer is like killing him.” (Source: Musnad al-Bazzār 3158/3159)

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best of you are the best to their women.” (Source: Sunan Ibn Mājah 1978)
Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever is not merciful to people will not receive mercy from Allah.” (Source: al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr 3847)

Abu Qilabah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “It is an evil mount for a man to rely upon what others merely assert.” (Source: Sunan Abī Dāwūd 4972) // Hadith on Truth: Verify information before you rely upon it
Hanzala Al-Asaydi reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever guards the five prayers, their ablution and their timing and their bowing and their prostration and knowing they are the right of Allah over him, then Allah will forbid him from entering Hellfire.” (Source: Musnad Aḥmad 17882)

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Those who are merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the earth and the One in the heavens will have mercy upon you.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 1924
“Be satisfied with what Allah has apportioned for you and you will be richest of people.”- (Tirmidhi)
“If any Muslim plants any plant and a human being or animal eats of it, He will be rewarded as If he had given that much in charity.” (Bukhari)

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s apostle said, “Whoever says ‘SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi’, One hundred times a day, Will be forgiven all his/her sins even if they were as much as the foam of a sea.” ( Bukahari Vol 8 Book 75, hadith 414)
Prophet Peace be upon him said” A poor pious man is better marriage suitor for you than a rich man who is not rich.” [Bukhari]

Anas (RA) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) said:“All the sons of Adam are sinners, but the best of sinners are those who repent often.” Source •Tirmidhi : Book 16, Hadith 1520

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said “Whoever sends salutations upon me once, Allah will send upon him salutations ten times.” – (Muslim).  /// Let’s say it right now… Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammadin wa aali Muhammad

Abu Hurairah reported: Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upn him) said, “The poor will enter Jannah five hundred years before the rich.” –  (Tirmidhi)

Messenger of Allah said “I had a chance to look into the paradise and I found that majority of people were poor.” [Sahih Muslim #7114]

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Do not let the fear of blame stop you from carrying out the command of Allaah.” –  Source: [Sunan Ibn Majah, (b.20, no.2637)]

Narrated ‘Ibn ‘Umar (ra): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “Do not indulge in excessive talk except when remembering Allah. Excessive talking without the Remembrance of Allah hardens the heart; and those who are the farthest from Allah are those whose hearts are hard.”[At-Tirmidhi] Riyad as-Salihin, The Book of the Prohibited actions Book 18, Hadith 1518

Uthman bin ‘Affan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (Peace Be upon him) said, “The best amongst you is the one who learns the Qur’an and teaches it.” [Al-Bukhari]

“Save yourself from hell-fire by giving even half a date-fruit in charity.” – [Bukhari]

“For one of you to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle is better for him than that he should touch a woman who is not permissible for him.” [al-Tabaraani (sahih/authentic)]

Messenger of Allah (Peace Be upon him) said,
”The believers who show the most perfect Faith are those who have the best behavior, and the best of you are those who are the best to their wives.” – [Tirmidhi]

The Messenger of Allah (Peace Be upon him) said: “The people who will be nearest to me on the Day of Resurrection will be those who supplicate Allah more often for me.” – [Tirmidhi]

‘Abddullah ibn ‘Amr (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah(Peace Be Upon Him) said to me, “O ‘Abdullah, have I not heard that you fast all day and pray all night?” I said, yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said, “Do not do that. Fast and break your fast, pray qiyaam and sleep, for your body has a right over you, your eyes have a right over you, your wife has a right over you, and your visitors have a right over you…” (Bukhari, 1874 & Muslim, 1159).

Prophet (Peace Be Upon him) said:
“Allah is pleased with a person who eats some food and then praises him(Allah) for it, or who drinks some drink and then praises him(Allah) for it.”- [Sahih Muslim]

Ibn Hibbaan (May Allah have mercy upon him ) reported that the Prophet (Peace Be upon him) said: “Whoever recites Ayatul-Kursi after each obligatory prayer, then nothing can prevent him from entering paradise except Death.”

Narrated Al Mughira( R.A):
The Prophet( Peace Be Upon Him) said, ““Allah has forbidden you to be undutiful to your mothers.” – ( Sahih Al Bukhari V 8 Book 73; Book of good manners. Hadith No 6)

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “On the Day of Resurrection Allah will hold the whole earth and fold the heaven with His right hand and say, ‘I am the King: where are the kings of the earth?” ‘ (Sahih al-Bukhari)

The Prophet (Peace Be Upon him) said, “Oppression will be a darkness on the Day of Resurrection.” – [Bukhari]

The Prophet(Peace Be Upon Him) said: “Whoever directs someone to a good, then he will have the reward equal to the doer of the action.” [Sahih Muslim]

The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said: “Blessed is the wealth of a Muslim from which he gives to the poor, to orphans, and to needy travelers.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari]

Narrated Masruq: `Aisha (R.A)
said, “If anyone tells you that Muhammad(Peace Be Upon him) has seen his Lord(Allah), he is a liar, for Allah says: ‘No vision can grasp Him.’ (6.103) And if anyone tells you that Muhammad has seen the Unseen, he is a liar, for Allah says: “None has the knowledge of the Unseen but Allah.”

The Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon him) said, “Shall I not guide you towards the means of goodness? Fasting is a shield; charity wipes away sin as water extinguishes fire, and the praying of a man in the depths of the night.” Then he (PBUH) recited the verse: “Those who forsake their beds to invoke their Lord in fear and hope, and they spend (in charity) out of what We have provided for them. No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do.” [Tirmidhi]

“If you ask, ask Allah and if you seek help, seek help from Allah.”- [at-Tirmidhi, Ahmad]

Reported by Mu`awiyah (RA): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the understanding of Deen.” – [Bukhari & Muslim]
