25+ Quotes on Holy Month of Ramadan

“This week ushers in the beautiful month of Ramadan. A month of fasting, contemplation, spiritual recalibration, renewed faith, community building, and family bonding. It’s my favorite month of the year and I am looking forward to it more than ever.
We refrain from food and water and make intentional effort to stay away from backbiting & bad words (we should really be intentional always but Ramadan is a great place to start), read more Quran, be more consistent with our prayers (and on time – this for me first), pay more charity to those who need it most. This is a time that reminds us of all the blessings that God has bestowed upon us. It reminds us to be grateful for the things we often take for granted. It’s also good for the body, mind and soul so as long as you are not over indulging at the break of fast.
Islam is a practical faith, one rooted in compassion, love and justice. A faith followed by 1.7 billion people in every corner of this world.
If you have questions about Islam, feel free to ask a Muslim. We are here for it so as long as questions are not rooted in inherent bigotry. I will not allow bigots to define my faith, and neither should anyone else. Let the majority of Muslims define our faith. We got you. Questions and critiques are welcome.
