In Islam Remembrance of Allah is known as Dhikr. Some Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah) quotes are as follows:
Allah says in Quran: “Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” – [Quran 13:28]
Allah says in Quran: “O you who believe! Remember Allah with much remembrance.” – [Quran, 33:41]
Allah says in Quran: “O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah.” – [Al-Munafiqun 63:9]
Allah Says in Quran: “Then remember Me, I will remember you.” – [Quran 2:152]
Allah says in Quran: “And for men and women who engage much in Allah’s remembrance. For them has Allah prepared forgiveness and a great reward.” – [Quran, 33:35]
Allah says in Quran: “Woe to those whose hearts have hardened against the Remembrance of Allah! Those are in clear error.” – [Quran 39:22]
Hadith on remembrance of Allah: “He who remembers his Lord (Allah) and he who does not are like the living and the dead.” – [Bukhari and Muslim]
“Dhikr polishes the heart until it becomes like a shiny mirror.” – Ibn Al-Qayyim
“Remember Allah always. Whoever doesn’t remember Allah – then those are the losers.”

Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (Peace be Upon him) saying, “The best way to celebrate the remembrance of Allah is to say: ‘La ilaha illallah‘ .” – [Tirmidhi]
